• How is the computer-based online examination different from the conventional paper-based examinations?
    Reply :The computer-based online examination is more or less the same except that a candidate reads a question on a computer terminal and clicks on the correct answer, instead of reading on a paper booklet and using a pencil/pen to darken the ovals on an answer sheet.
  • Can I take the test from any computer?
    Reply : No. A candidate will have to take the test on a pre-assigned computer at the test venue.
  • How many questions are there in the test?
    Reply : There will be 150 questions.
  • What is the duration of the test?
    Reply :The duration of test will be 120 minutes
  • Will there be negative marking in NFL exam?
    Reply : No
  • What is the scoring pattern and rule for negative marking?
    Reply : Each question of 01 mark each; no negative marking.

  • Is there any age restriction for appearing in NFL?
    Reply : Yes, 29 years for UR and accordingly relaxations to be given. Age eligibility criteria as on 30.04.2019
  • What is the fee for the test?
    Reply : Non - refundable application fee of Rs. 700 + Bank charges. The application fee is not applicable for SC/ST/ExSM/PwD/Departmental candidates.
  • When and how do I register for NFL?
    Reply : Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria should apply online through NFL website: Careers  Recruitment in NFL Recruitment for Management Trainees in HR and Marketing-2019Apply Online No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Submission of application will be allowed on the website upto 1730 hours on 14.06.2019, unless changed as per the decision of NFL.   • Can I use my coaching institute’s or a friend’s email address when registering for NFL?
    Reply : No, you need to have a valid and unique email address of yourself which you will be using at least for the next 1 year.
  • Can I pay the fees through Bank Demand Draft or Cheque or Cash? Where do I pay my fees?
    Reply : No. Fees cannot be paid through Bank Demand Draft or Cheque. It can be paid through online only.
  • When will Test be held and can I choose a test city?
    Reply : Eligible candidates will be required to appear for computer based online objective type test, information for which will be provided in the Admit card.
  • From where can I get the list of test cities?
    Reply : A list of test cities is available in the advertisement uploaded on website
  • When will I get my Admit Card?
    Reply : Date will be communicated in due course of time.
  • What details will be mentioned in the Admit Card?
    Reply : The admit card will contain the photo, name and signature of the candidate, NFL Roll number, test date, time, reporting time at the venue, venue name, venue address and brief instructions for the candidate.
  • Will the Admit Card be sent to me as a hard copy or by mail?
    Reply : Admit Card in respect of such eligible & provisionally shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on NFL website and such candidates will also be intimated for the same through SMS on their mobile number & through email on their e-mail address as mentioned in their online application form. However, NFL will not be responsible for any delay or non-delivery of intimation sent electronically through mobile or e-mail, as the case may be. No other communication will be sent to such candidates for this purpose.
  • What are the timings to contact the helpline?

  • Can I change my preferred test city after I have submitted my form?
    Replay : No. Once form is finally submitted, no data can be changed and no request shall also be entertained in this regard.
  • After submission of NFL registration fee, can I cancel my application and apply for refund of fee?
    Reply : Under no circumstances, cancellation of application and refund of fee will be allowed.
  • If I do not take my test, will I be eligible for a refund?
    Reply : No. Your fees will not be refunded even in case you do not appear for your test as per your scheduled location, date and time.
